Ukulele Jam
Spreadable, but not edible, Ukulele Jam is a sweet mix of ukulele players and singers aged from 12 to 85 years. Serving anything from "As Time Goes By" to "Zip a dee, Doo-dah", Beach Boys to Johnny Mercer - Ukulele Jam will stir emotions with classic ingredients.

UKULELE JAM meets @ ISLAND BAZAAR in Huntington Beach every Thursday night at 6:30pm with the exception of major holidays, or events.

Come join us for some zany ukulele fun and lots of great music.

$5.00 donation appreciated (no one turned away at door)

KOLOHE 'UKULELE CLUB was formed in 2000 & meets for practice at "ISLAND BAZAAR" in Surf City U.S.A. every Tuesday night @ 7:pm. Under our Kumu UNCLE HENRY KAMAE, we play Hawaiian & Hapa Haole music and invites ALL levels of 'UKULELE PLAYERS to jam with us Island Style.

KOLOHE has performed at the Southern California Ukulele Festival, the Tiki Beach Fest in Belmont Shore, the Asian & Pacific Islander Councle Banquets, the San Dimas Ho'Olaule'a, Aloha-Cruz Island Beach Shows, for many'a Lu'au, Halau performances, festivals, & other functions.

Gospel Night
Gospel Night at Island Bazaar meets on the last Friday of each month. We sing and play along to a variety of good old Christian Gospel Music, Southern Gospel Songs, and Hymns. We also have special guest Musicians on occasion. There is no charge for Gospel Night although Donations are accepted for our special guest Musicians. Please bring your music stand, ukulele, guitar, fiddle, banjo, or whatever stringed accoustic instrument you may play and join us. Music is provided. Even if you don't play an instrument, come and sing with us. Gospel Nights are lead by Dan Ward with special thanks to Shirley Orlando owner of Island Bazaar. Surf City Strummers

Here’s a group of ukulele players that meets on Friday mornings at Island Bazaar at 10:30 in the morning.  Directed by Shirley Orlando, Surf City Strummers plays great standards in popular music.  The “Strummers” also entertain at the VA Hospital, Nursing Homes, and other venues equally dear.  Come and join our wonderful group, bring your ukulele and we will provide the smile!  $5.00 per session. 714-843-9350 Shirthings@aol.com

String Thing

Is a loose-knit group of string players (ukulele, guitar, fiddle, bass, and other folk stringed instruments) who meet on Saturday afternoons at Island Bazaar from 1PM to 3PM.  String Thing is “self-directed”, and the members provide a wide and diverse repertoire of music to enjoy.  Lots of fun, and sometimes the folks just can’t stop playing!  $3.00 per session.
